About the Founder
Dennis W. Montoya, founder of Montoya Creative, LLC, grew up in a small acequia community in Mora County, New Mexico. A retired civil rights lawyer and educator, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational and Community Leadership at Texas State University. His work draws upon a lifelong engagement with New Mexico's history, communities, education, and Indo-Hispano cultural heritage.
